Supply Chain Disruption Survey
The Supply Chain Disruption Survey is part of a Horizon Europe research project, RETHINK-GSC (N. 101061123), which has the aim of getting a better understanding of current changes and ongoing challenges in global supply chains, providing new insights for policymakers. The research consortium consists of 11 members of ten European countries. For further information on the research project, please visit https://rethink-gsc.eu/.
As part of the research project, we conduct a survey in multiple EU countries, in which we ask firms about different aspects of their relationship with their suppliers. We ask questions like “Does your firm perform specific activities that involve a close cooperation with strategic suppliers?” and “Does your firm audit either formally or informally any of its indirect suppliers?”
The main purpose of the survey is to enhance our knowledge of the changes currently affecting procurement processes and the answers companies give to overcome supply chain disruptions. Survey participants give us valuable insight to compare current tendencies in different countries and industries. Analysis of general patterns based on the anonymized responses does not only help in forming proper policy recommendations, but can also be informative to the participants themselves.
